Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Ištar of Uruk for 15 days, from the 1st to the 15th day of Nisān (I) of the following year (Kandalanu 18), for 1 mina and 15 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 5 shekels of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Naˀid-Marduk). 6 witnesses and the scribe. Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) (of the seller).
