Mušēzib-Marduk/Kiribtu(//Sîn-nāṣir) purchases a half-share (aḫu) in a grove from Nabû-ušebši/Nabû-nāṣir (NU). It formerly belonged to Šāpik-zēri/Balāssu.

The field is located by (tp)Moat (ḫarīṣu). It is adjacent to the properties of Nabû-ušallim/Nādinu (or: Nabû-ušallim//Nādinu) and Zēru-ukīn/Šāpik-zēri. This is the agreed area under sale, irrespective of whether the plot is found to be larger or smaller (mala bašû) (upon measuring).

2 minas of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (maḫīru nabû) as the purchase price. It is received with (u) a supplementary payment (atru) of 5 shekels. NU relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household.

Written in the presence of Aḫḫēšāya, the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and 13 witnesses.

The document includes the clause concerning fingernail impressions of NU, and the tablet is marked with them. 

Purchase of a garden: A purchases a half share (ahu) of an orchard (kirû) for 2 minas of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 5 shekels of silver, from B who formerly purchased it from C. The sold garden is located along a moat (harīṣu). Its upper side and its lower side border on (the properties of) D₁ and D₂ respectively. No other specification concerning the location and measures of the garden are given in the record. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina uzuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Ahhēšāya). 13 witnesses and the scribe, also defined as writer of the tablet (šāṭir ṭuppi). Fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
