Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin(//Šamšēa) purchases a baker’s prebend (nuḫatimmūtu) from Lâbâši/Gudādû (L).

The prebendary service is performed before Nanāya for half(?) of the 1st day of m.III (lit: iti.sig4 u4 1 ME(?).kám ½ u4-mu).

6.5 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is paid together with (or: including, adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of ¼ shekel of silver. L relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.

Written during the incumbency (lit.: days, ūmu) of Nabû-udammiq(/Zēr-Bābili), the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and Gimillu(/Nadnāya), the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and in the presence of 2 witnesses.

Scribe: Mukīn-zēri/Kudurru.

The document includes a clause concerning fingernail impressions of L, but their presence or absence is not indicated in the edition.

The year is designated as "the year of the closing of the gate, (it) is closed in Uruk" (šattu ša edēl bābi ina Uruk edil).

Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Nanāya for half of the 1^st day of Simān (III) of the following year for 6 ½ shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of ¼ shekel of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-udammiq) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu). 2 witnesses  and the scribe. The transaction takes place in a year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) (of the seller).
