Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Nanāya for half of the 1st day of Simān (III) of the following year for 6 ½ shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of ¼ shekel of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-udammiq) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu). 2 witnesses and the scribe. The transaction takes place in a year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) (of the seller).
