Paraphrase

The document records a case of cattle misappropriation involving animals belonging to the herd (qabuttu) of the Eanna temple.

In the presence of the freemen (mār banî) Bēl-uballiṭ/Mušallim-Marduk//Gimil-Nanāya, Aīgāšu, the royal courtier (ša rēš šarri), Innin-zēru-ušebši/Aplāya//Sîn-lēqi-unnīnī, Mušēzib-Marduk/Bēl-uballiṭ//Amīl-Ea, and Kalbāya/Aḫḫēšāya,
the crown prince’s messenger (mār šipri ša mār šarri), Anu-aḫḫē-uṣur (AAU), explains to Nabû-šarru-uṣur (NŠU), the Royal Overseer of the Eanna (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) that three head of cattle from the Eanna’s herd—two full-grown cows and a female calf at the disposal of Bānia/Marduk-erība—had been entrusted to his son Bābu-ēṭir/Bānia (BE) by order of the crown prince, after the animals were shown to AAU.

BE later reports to NŠU, that these three animals, which had been entrusted to him, were unlawfully (šigiltu) seized by Aplāya/Nabû-tabni-uṣur.
