9 shekels of silver of Ištar-zēru-ušebši/Ištar-šumu-uṣur//Gimil-Nanāya (IZU) are owed by Ištar-šarru-uṣur/Rēmūtu (IŠU). The silver is the price of the wine of Amurru-šarru-bulliṭ, the Overseer of the female slaves (rab amīlāti). The female slave (f)Bannunāya (B), on whom GAD is written, serves as the pledge of IŠU. IZU will keep her until he receives the 9 shekels. If (kī) B leaves IZU and goes somewhere else, IŠU shall pay IZU a monthly amount of 0;1.1.3 of barley.
3 witnesses and the scribe Nabû-ēṭir/Apkallu//Kurī
Note
line 6: For M. Stopler (1998, 136 n.11), GAD may be amended to XV = imittu, “right”, or XII: šumēlu, “left”. Nevertheless, the sign GAD is clear on the picture of the tablet.
