Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-aḫu-iddin (NAI) (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) to Nādinu (N) (/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi) (temple scribe, ṭupšarru ša Eanna), "his brother", asking whether barley which was supposed to be handed out was indeed handed out, stressing that this should really happen. NAI also informs N that the workers of the royal cattle shed are causing trouble regarding barley because they are not supplied with fodder and straw, and requests that these men receive the necessary goods. NAI orders N to give dates to Silim-ilī, the Keeper of the Royal Box (in Eanna) (ša muḫḫi quppi (ša Eanna)) as allowances (kurummatu) for his men. Some of the dates should be given at the Royal Canal (nār šarri) and are supposed go to Babylon. NAI informs N that since N left, NAI sent two messages to the High Priest (šatammu) about a sheep and a kid.
