Paraphrase | Promissory note. Arad-Bēl/Šarru-ukīn, chief of flocks (rab būli) of sheep of the Eanna, is to collect from the herdsmen under his charge (nāqidāti ṣāb qātišu) 1000 tanned (šūkulu) or scraped (ḫalīṣu) sheepskins. He is deliver them within 2 months to the Eanna treasury. This is over and above the remainder (rēḫānu) owed by him. Three witnesses and Marduk-nāṣir/Madānu-aḫḫē-iddin//Šigû’a, the scribe. |
