Nabû-aḫḫē-bulliṭ/Nabû-šumu-ukīn//Šangû-Ninurta and his wife (f)Bulṭāya/Bēl-ušallim//Kurī voluntarily (ina ḫūd libbi) donate their slave (qallu) Aḫu-iddin (AI) for the preservation of their lives (ana balāṭ napšāti) to Ištar. AI will keep serving them, as long as they live, and be an oblate of Ištar afterwards. Curse by Anu and Ištar against violation.

The tablet shows no seal impressions. 3 holes on the bottom half of the obverse.

Donatio mortis causa. Free gift of a slave to the temple taking full effect only after the donors die.

A1 and A2, his wife, voluntarily (ina hūd libbi) donated (nadānu) B, their slave (qallu), to be a temple-serf (širku) of Ištar. This they do for the preservation of their lives (ana balāṭ napšāti). B will keep serving (palāhu) A1 and A2  as long they are alive, and will be a temple-serf of Ištar only upon their death.
