Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin(//Šamšēa) purchases a baker’s prebend (nuḫatimmūtu) from Ṭuppušu/Bēlšunu (Ṭ).

The prebendary service is performed before Nanāya from the 3rd to the 5th day of m. III.

50 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is paid together with (adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver. Ṭ relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.

Written in the presence of Nabû-udammiq(/Zēr-Bābili), the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and Gimillu(/Nadnāya), the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and 5 witnesses.

Scribe: Naˀid-Marduk/Iddin-Nabû, the writer of the tablet (šāṭir ṭuppi).

The document includes a clause concerning fingernail impressions of Ṭ, but their presence or absence is not indicated in the edition.

The year is designated as "the year of the closing of the gate" (šattu ša edēl bābi).

Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Nanāya for 3 days, from the 3^rd to the 5^th of Simān (III) of the following year, for 5/6 mina of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-udammiq) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu). 2 witnesses  and the scribe, also defined as writer of the tablet (šaṭir ṭuppi). The transaction takes place in a year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
