Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, said (qabû) the following to the Babylonians and Urukeans, members of the priestly assembly (kiništu):
“The messenger of the king and the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Babylon have said: ‘The stelae, the inscriptions of the kings of earlier times, that are erected in Eanna: show them to me!’ (So) show the stelae, the inscriptions of earlier times that you know of, to the messenger of the king! Show the messenger of the king everything you know and are familiar with!”
The scribe is Nabû-mukīn-apli/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Balāṭu, in Uruk.
