Hiring of guardians for fields of barley. Arad-Innin/Ištar-ummānu, Aḫu-likūnu/Bēl-zēru-iddin, and Zababa-ēreš/Iddiya ask Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, Iltammeš-ḫidiri, royal representative (qīpu) of Ebabbar, and Iltar-abi, canal inspector (gugallu) of the Meadow off Villainy (tāmirti angilli) to provide them with 3 auxiliaries, so they could guard the fields of barley, belonging to Ištar, Šamaš, the king, and the archers between the Takkiru-canal and Ḫarri-kippi as well as in the Meadow of the Irrigation Canal (tāmirti rāṭi) and Bīt-Nabû-gaddu, against wild animals for 1 month and 10 days. They are paid in total 50 kurru of barley and 6 kurru bread for their daily rations, as well as a further 2 kurru dates. Three witnesses and Nabû-bēlšunu/Innin-šumu-ēreš//Ea-ilūtu-bāni, the scribe.
