Nabû-ušallim/Bēl-iddin(//Šamšēa) purchases a baker’s prebend (nuḫatimmūtu) from Marduk-zēru-ibni/Nabû-zēru-ušebši (MZI).

The prebendary service is performed before Nanāya from the 9th to the 10th day of m.V.

39 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu) are declared (nabû) as its purchase price (maḫīru, šīmu). It is paid together with (adi) a supplementary payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver. MZI relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.

Written during the incumbency (lit.: days, ūmu) of Nabû-udammiq(/Zēr-Bābili), the Governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk, and Gimillu(/Nadnāya), the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, and in the presence of 7 witnesses.

Scribe: Nabû-šumu-ukīn/Aḫḫēa.

The document includes a clause concerning fingernail impressions of Ṭ, but their presence or absence is not indicated in the edition.

The date is designated as "during the closing of the gate” (ina edēl bābi).

Purchase of a prebend: A purchases a share (isqu) of the prebend of the baker (nuhatimmūtu) before Nanāya for 2 days, from the 9^th to the 10^th of Abu (IV) of the following year, for 39 shekels of silver in pieces (šibirtu), together with an additional payment (atru) of 1 shekel of silver, from B. The transaction is concluded in the presence of (ina ušuzzi) the governor (šākin ṭēmi) of Uruk (Nabû-udammiq) and the bishop (šatammu) of Eanna (Gimillu). 7 witnesses  and the scribe. The transaction takes place in a year of "locking of the gate" (edel bābi). Instead of a seal impression (kunukku), fingernail impression (ṣupru) of the seller.
