Paraphrase

Purchase contract for a house in good repair (bītu epšu), roofed (bīt ruggubi), with a doorframe in place, and with a door and a lock installed (sippu daltu u sikkūru kunnū).

The location of the house in Uruk falls within a broken section of the tablet.

Nabû-zēru-ibni/Nergal-naṣir//Išparu (NZI) agreed with Nanāya-ēreš/Ardia (NE) the price of 12 minas and 40 shekels of silver and NE purchased it.

NZI received from NE the full purchase price of 12 minas and 40 shekels of silver with a supplementary payment (atru) of 23 shekels in silver pieces (šibirtu).

NZI relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his family. Non-compliance will result in a 12-fold repayment.

A 1/3 shekel silver KUR.RA-garment was set aside (for a potential) claimant 

6 witnesses and the scribe Nabû-šāpik-uṣur/Bēl-īpuš//Sîn-šāpik

Clause concerning the fingernail impressions of NZI, the seller. The tablet bears his fingernail impressions. 

Note

The father's name of Nabû-zēru-ibni is reconstructed on the basis of YBC 9431, dated to Nbk II 23. He may have been the brother of Nādinu/Nergal-nāṣir//Išparu.
