Nergal-ibni/Nabû-aḫḫē-erība//Bāʼiru is obliged to swear an oath by Šamaš in a magic circle (gišḫuru) to Libluṭ/Nabû-ēṭir (L) on the next day. If he swears that an emerald (barraqtu) fell off his necklace (kudurru), when L removed it from his neck, L will reimburse him for the value (mīnu) of the emerald.

The day after the drafting of this document Nergal-ibni/Nabû-aḫḫē-erība//Bā’iru is expected to accuse under oath to Šamaš Libluṭ/Nabû-ēṭir of having broken off an emerald (barraqtu) from his necklace when he took it away from him. If he so swears Libluṭ has to repay him the estimated value (mīnu) of the emerald. Three witnesses and Nabû-bēlšunu/Nūrea, the scribe.
