Injunction of Dayyān-Marduk/Nabû-bān-aḫi//Balāṭu. He has four months to hand over La-tubāšinni, a temple oblate (širkatu) and wife of Dayyān-Marduk’s slave Bēl-abu-uṣur, and their children to Nidinti-Bēl/Nabû-mukīn-apli//Dābibī, bishop (šatammu) of Eanna, and Nabû-aḫu-iddin, royal representative (ša rēš šarri) and commissioner (bēl piqitti) of Eanna. If he does not, he not only has to hand them over, but also pay a compensation (mandattu) for every day they work for him. Three witnesses and Gimillu/Innin-zēru-iddin, the scribe. |
