Paraphrase | Oath of Anu-šarru-uṣur/Nabû-zēru-ibni. He swears by the gods and the adê of the king to bring the rest of the barley that he has sold to Eanna to Nanāya-ēreš and Šamaš-ēriba, officials of the quay (rab kāri) within seven days. Should he fail, his slave Nanāya-ultaraḫ and her son will become temple property, though they would only fulfil his debt, not his father’s. Four witnesses and Nabû-mukīn-apli/Marduk-šumu-iddin//Balāṭu, the scribe. |
