Paraphrase

Šamšāja, son of Sîn-ibni, received (maḫir) his wages out of the hands (ina qātī) of Bēl-eṭēri-Šamaš, son of Aplāja in the presence (ina ušuzzi) of Ninurta-ālik-pāni, son of Kinnāja, Gimillu, son of Kūnāja, (and) Bānia, son of Ninurta-ibni, A fourth of a shekel of silver are the expenses (etēqu) on top of it (ina muḫḫi).

The next two lines are empty, then text begins again with “and the scribe Ellil-uballiṭ, son of Rēmūt-Gula.
