Sale contract: Šamê-milk, son of Abu-erība, sold (nadānu) his slave girl (qallatu) Bēlet-būnīa of his own volition (ina ḫūd libbīšu) for one-third of a mina of silver and one sheep, which is worth (ubbulu) three shekels of silver. The purchaser Bēl-eṭēri-Šamaš, son of Aplāja, paid the exact purchase price (ana šīmi ḫarīṣ).
Šamê-milk guarantees (pūtu našû) against any person who appears (elû) and brings suit unlawfully (sēḫû) or a claimant (pāqirānu) with a valid claim, (and) against any imposed status of a royal slave (amat-šarrūtu) or the status of a free person (mār banûtu) imposed upon the slave status.
3 witnesses and 1 scribe: Kalbāja, son of Aḫ-ilia, Pānia, son of Abdadutu, Šamaš-aḫu-uṣur, son of Abu-erība, and the scribe: Bēl-iddin, son of Ša-Nabû-šū.
