Bēl-eṭēri-Šamaš is required to pay a royal official called Nabû-ušēzib silver in lieu of dates owed to this royal official by the Ekur. Nabû-ušēzib, son of Taddeššu, the overseer of the gate (rab bābi), is written down (šaṭāru) for an allocation of commodities (mindu), in this case paid in the form of 45 shekels (2/3 minas and 5 shekels) of silver, the price of the commodity, dates. The dates are the property of the god Enlil, represented by the šandabakku Širikti-Ninurta (makkūr Ellili ša Širikti-Ninurta šandabakki), and under the administration (ša qātī) by Mūrānu, son of Šamaš-iddin, and Enlil-na’id, son of Apkallu. Bēl-eṭēri-Šamaš, son of Aplāja,owes (ina muḫḫi) at least 45 shekels (2/3 minas and 5 shekels) of silver (to the temple), and has to pay (nadānu) the 45 shekels on the 10th of a month.
Two witnesses are preserved: Aḫūšunu, son of Līšir, and Iqīšāja, son of Šamaš-pāqissunu.
