Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-aḫḫē-iddin (/Nergal-ušallim//Nūr-Sîn, High Priest, šatammu) to Nabû-bān-aḫi (/Ibnāya//Ekur-zākir, scribe, ṭupšarru), “his brother”, reminding him not to be negligent (lā šelû) about what the sender wrote to the recipient in previous messages and about the barley. He should assess the imposts and the sender will then go out to the villages about this. Messages should be sent to the (tp)Aššurītu irrigation district, where the sender will arrive shortly, and Nabû-šumu-ukīn should not be involved but bring the boats to where the sender is and not be negligent about them (lā šelû). Among further reprimands and another announcement of his arrival, the sender tells the recipient to recover heifers from Nūrēa which Zēria had taken away as well as one ox. They should go to the fattening shed at the quay of the Eanna ((tp)Kār-Eanna) and be fed bran (tuḫḫu) and sindu-cereals (sindu).
