Letter of Nabû-lē’i (self-designating as servant, ardu) to the High Priest (šatammu), complaining that the recipient did not listen and now the work allotments have been assigned. He asks the recipient for silver because they were allotted five times the workload (than expected). After a break, the sender talks about binding boat-beams together and to send a master builder (arad ekalli) and a carpenter to them. They emphatically stress that they need silver. A broken passage mentions a field, a master builder (arad ekalli), a room (kummu) and an obligation. A man reportedly took silver from them without them being present because they allegedly owe stones, … and firewood. In closing, they stress how bad their situation is and that the work will stop if the recipient’s messenger does not arrive in time.
