Paraphrase

Letter by the king (Nabû-kudurrī-uṣur = Nebuchadnezzar II) to Nabû-nādin-šumi (/Bēl-šumu-iškun//Dābibī, High Priest, šatammu) (no appellation), confirming that the received his message about Šamaš-bān-aḫi and reminding the recipient not to be negligent (lā šelû) about the service (maṣṣartu) of the Eanna, the temple of the sender’s gods, and to sacrifice fine bread, fine beer and fattened sheep. In closing, he tells the recipient to take care of the temple service (maṣṣartu) and to pray for him (the king) to the Babylonian main deities.
