Letter of Nabû-ēṭir-napšāti (deputy governor of the Sealand, šanû) to Nādinu (= Nabû-nādin-šumi/Bēl-šumu-iškun//Dābibī, High Priest, šatammu), “his brother”, answering a message about līmu-land in the negative, telling the recipient that he does not possess the authority to distribute the land without a royal order, painting a picture how such a decision would put him under pressure, as the Sealanders would suspect the recipient of favoritism or distributing already taken land, and the Urukeans would suspect the sender of favouritism or that it was done by royal order. After a broken passage, the assures the recipient that he will come so that they can settle the matter before the king and the Governor of the Sealand (šākin māti) who should decide who the land belongs to. In closing, he informs the recipient that the term for the saffron field is ḫurzu-ḫurzi, in case he did not know this designation.
