Paraphrase

Receipt and issue of various goods.

 

The first section lists the operations on the 16th day of m.III.

Barley: 1;0 as a gift (lit. income, erbu) of Nanāya-iddin; 2;0.2 as allowances (kurummatu) for gatekeepers (atû) of the granary (bīt karê); 0;0.5 as allowances for Šamaš-aḫḫē-iddin from (ša) the storehouse (bīt qātē); 0;0.2 as fodder for the donkeys from the warehouse (? makkūru), which were sent to (tp)Udannu for (ana muḫḫi) Dilmun dates.

Butter, not burnt (ḫimētu lā qullītu): 0;0.5 – Iddināya; 0;0.1.3 – Gimillu/Ḫaḫḫūru and Nabû-aḫ[…].

Sheep: 11, purchased for ½ mina silver (the price of […]), which Anu-aḫu-iddin, chief of runners (rab musaḫḫirē), received from […]; 1, for (the exchange rate of) 4.5 shekels for 2, purchased from Bēl-[…], … for/in the fattening shed (urê).

Young birds (līdānu): 10, purchased from Sūqāya […].

 

The second section lists the operations on the 17th day of m.III.

Sheep and goats: 50 kalūmu-lambs and 1 she-goat, which Balāṭu, offering shepherd (rē’i ginê) […].

Dates: 60;1.1 from Nabû-ṣullê-šeme […].

 

The third section has no (preserved) date.

Silver: 1 ¼ shekel, for […] of the donkeys that […].

Dates: 0;0.2 – […], Šaddinnu/Kalbāya.

Sheep: 96, for […] from 25th day until […], purchased with the silver for […].

 

On the mostly uninscribed obverse, there are 3 notes(?). The first one is illegible. In the second, days 27th(?) and 28th(?) of m.III are mentioned. The third is concerned with the Dilmun dates for the regular offerings, cut in m.VII by Bēl-iddin and […] by Nidintu/Ibni-Ištar.

 

Dating in the Achaemenid period is based on prosopography.
