Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-aḫu-iddin (NAI) (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) to the High Priest (šatammu), "his brother", about the solution to a previous problem with the tithe of Marduk-šarru-uṣur (MŠU). MŠU did not deliver the dates because the temple usually sends someone to take over the dates on the palms (and organize the harvest and transport itself). NAI now urges the High Prest to send someone to do this before the dates spoil.
