Paraphrase

Letter by Šulāya to Šumāya, “his brother”, asking him to give barley, cress and sesame oil to Apil-abi/Šamaš-erība (AA), a man staying with the recipient. In return, the sender offers to fulfill the needs of the recipient. If the transaction is not feasible, the sender wants to be informed about this quickly (ḫanṭiš) in order to send the goods to AA himself. The sender stresses his concern about this matter (kī nakutti šapāru).
