Paraphrase

Letter of Nādin-aḫi (Royal Supervisor of the Ebabbar of Larsa, qīpu) to the High Priest (of Eanna, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), “his brothers”, assuring them that he prayed for them ever since they went to Babylon. He informs them that when they left for Uruk, he went to (tp)Piqūdu to the deputy governor (šanû, could be of Piqūdu or the Sealand) concerning the digging of a canal. He stresses that he is hard pressed. He reports that when he sent silver to (tp)Mēšānu for sheep, they were already expensive, so he requests 30 to 40 sheep for the cult of Šamaš as well as two jars of wine.
