Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-bēlšunu and Ḫaḫḫuru to Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), “their lord”, about a silver payment they received for their watch duty from the 15th to the 27th of m.I together with Nabû-uballiṭ (NU), who had been sent by the recipient. Gimil-Šamaš, a messenger of Gimillu, took that silver from them. The sender(s) ask that NU waits for them (T: him) after he talked with NR until they come. He should also talk to Śameš-ukīn, his agent (bēl piqitti) and his oblates (širku). The debt note (of the silver transaction) is enclosed with the letter.
