It concerns the debt note (uˀiltu) about sheep and goats of year Nbn 7 belonging to Nabû-šumu-ibni/Marduk (Nši), a temple shepherd (herdsman). Nši used(?) them for a business venture (ḫarrānu) with Nabû-zēru-iddin/Šarru-ileˀˀi (Nzi). In the contract it was stipulated that Nši would receive wool and young for 5 years. Iqīša/Nanāya-ēreš, chief of flocks (rab būli) showed the document to Nabû-mukīn-zēri/Nādinu//Dabibi (Nmz), the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna, Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Nai), the Royal Overseer (ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti) and the city priests (šangû). So they questioned (šâlu). They read out (šasû) another debt not stipulating that Nši owed Nzi sheep and goats. They checked (amāru) the pertinent writing boards (lēˀu), and other debt notes in broken context.
8 witnesses, including Nabû-mukīn-apli/Šulāya, High Priest (šatammu) of the Ezida temple, Nmz, Nai, and the scribe Nādinu/Bēl-ahhē-iqīša//Egibi.
