Regarding an arable land (zēru pî šulpu) that Nusku-iddin/Taqiš-Gula (Ni) shares (zittu) with his brothers: Ni handed it over (nadānu) to Šamaš-šumu-līšir/Taqiš-Gula (Ššl), his brother, for sharecropping (ana errešūtu), for a 1/3 of the share of the harvest (ebūru), summer (gummātu), winter (kūṣu).
Ššl will (further?) pay Ni third of the field’s yearly excess (i-tur-ru) share in m.II of Art II 08; including/as well as a third of the excess pounded (i-na-su-ku; sakû N?) mustard (kasû), and all that grows in the field.
Art II 07.III.07 is the starting date.
This tablet is considered a contract (kīma riksu) that Ni himself wrote against Ššl (ina pāni … ina qātēšu šumšu šaṭāru).
The (actual) scribe is Enlil-šumu-iddin/Ninurta-gamil, Nippur, day 7, month III!, (of) Artaxerxes, the King of the Lands.
