Marduk-šumu-ibni/Bēl-erība//Dannēa (MŠI) is accused by Marduk-šumu-uṣur/Bēl-uballiṭ//Būṣu (MŠU) and Erība-Marduk/Bēl-uballiṭ//Būṣu (EM) (two brothers), of having taken 0;0.5.3 of sesame from Adad-nūri/Nanāya-ukīn (AN) for himself instead of giving it to Eanna. He is questioned (šaʾālu) by Zēria, the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna in the assembly (kiništu), after he has been summoned (abāku) with MŠU and EM.
In his defence, MŠI states that from the sesame that AN gave him, he scattered the pressings in a vessel and that AN should have cleaned the pressings a second time and then given them to Eanna.
A sealed document (kunukku) was examined in Eanna, and MŠU and EM swore by the gods Bēl, Nabû, the Lady-of-Uruk and Nanāya, as well as by Nabonidus, king of Babylon and Beshazzar, the king's son, that their previous statement had been made out of anger (malû libbātu) at MŠI. AN had not given the 0;0.5.3 of sesame to MŠI. It was the income (erbu) of AN in Eanna and MŠI did not receive it in Eanna.
In the presence of: Zēria/Ibnāya//Egibi, the High Priest (šatammu) of Eanna
7 witnesses and the scribe: Nādin/Bēl-aḫḫē-iqīša//Egibi
