A summary of the transfer of water usage rights:
6 freeman (mār banê) and elders (šību) of (tp)Ḫandidi swear by Bēl, Nabû, and the Majesty (adê) of Cambyses, that Arad-Gula/Šamaš-iqīša and Ninurta-aḫḫē-iddin/[…], messengers (mār šipri) of Širikti-Ninurta, Governor of Nippur (šandabakku) swore that they will hand over the water usage rights of two canals, in exchange for the (tp)Gūbaru-Canal (Nāru ša Gūbaru).
Ṣillāya, the Estate Manager (rab bīti) of Gūbaru <bēl pīḫāt bābili u ebir nāri>, by Gūbaru’s order, handed over rights for the canal to the Scythians and the Subareans.
Names of the 6 freeman and elders: Ariḫ/Šimē-iliya, the City Overseer (ša muḫḫi āli) and agricultural supervisor (gugallu), Nabû-mukīn-aḫi/Iltari-gadâ, Zērūtu/Rašâ, Nabû-ušēzib/Simkana, Nabû-ēṭir/Ninurta-iqīša, Adad-milki-iddin/Zērūtu.
