Letter of Sîn-šu[mu-ēreš] and Nabû-bēl-uṣur to Nidinti-Bēl (/Nabû-mukīn-zēri//Dābibī, High Priest of Eanna, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "their brothers", about a previous message by the recipients to the senders about ducks. The senders state that the ducks did not arrive. After a broken passage, the senders complain about seemingly questionable information from a shepherd and a likely outstanding delivery of silver from the recipients to the senders. The letter then switches to the singular and states that he (i.e., one of the senders) had to sell many ducks to obtain silver for the necessities (ḫišiḫtu) and the provisioning of the temple, and stresses that he has always returned (any) silver to the recipients.
