3 ½ shekels of silver are designated for the digging (ḫerû) of a canal (nāru) at the Gate (ina bābi rabî) of Adad. Bānia, Sîn-ušallim, Marduk-nāṣir and Nabû-šarrani, the hired workers (agru), shall dig 110 cubits. 1 1/2 shekels is the outstanding payment (bābtu) of a total of 4 1/2 shekels intended for the hired workers digging the canal: Zēria/Nanaya-aḫu-iddin.
