Paraphrase

Letter of Balāṭu (B) (chief of oblates, rab širki) to the High Priest (of Eanna, šatammu, Nabû-mukīn-apli/Nādinu//Dābibī), and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "his lords", about a shipment of wine and bitumen. B quotes the freeman (mār banî) of Esangila regarding the goods, and the actions he took following their decision, shipping the wine on its own and giving the bitumen to Aḫu-immê to be delivered by another ship. B then requests that his colleague, Innin-aḫḫē-iddin (IAI) (chief of oblates, rab širki), should not tarry in Babylon or depart for (tp)Bāb-Nār-Kabar because he is urgently needed for work (i.a., nubattu lā bâtu). B wrote to IAI after hiring 10 boats and loading them with kiln-fired bricks. B also informs the recipients that there is a message for IAI from Gubāru (Governor of Babylonia and Across the River).
