Paraphrase

Letter of Anu-šarru-uṣur (AŠU) (Royal Resident, qīpu) to Nabû-mukīn-apli (/Nādinu//Dābibī) (High Priest, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer,  ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), "his brothers", concerning Šumu-ukīn (/Nabû-udammiq) and Nidintu (/Dummuqu) (chiefs of fifty, rab ḫanšē). The two men are supposed to be outfitted with allowances  (kurummatu) and whatever they need from the treasury. They should return to work quickly (lā kâšu, nubattu lā bâtu). The following section is broken, but cautions that there should not be any trouble concerning the allowances and mentions Nabû-nāṣir’s son and Nanaya-aḫu-iddin’s son that AŠU led away (abāku). The broken passage also mentions something happening via Balāṭu and something AŠU wrote to the recipients. In closing, AŠU requests that wool, oil, salt and cress are passed on (etēqu Š) to [x]-ilūˀa and another man (name not preserved).
