10 shekels of silver are issued (no verb) for provisions (ṣidītu) for Šūzubu/Kudurru and his workers (ṣābu) who are sent (šapāru) to the chief of accounts (rab nikkassī), in the matter of the male sheep intended for the regular offering (ginû). 7 1/3 shekels (thereof) (were received from) Basia/Mannanu as the purchase price of 38 minas of wool (that the temple had sold to him).
The relation between the text’s two parts that make this a janus transaction has to be reconstructed; it is implied by the juxtaposition of the two entries (and follows also from the fact that Eanna does not normally buy wool - this would be the alternative interpretation for the text’s lines 6-9).
