Paraphrase

The document, written on the 5th of the month Ṭebēt (X) in the 1st regnal year of Darius, records that the Ebabbar temple gave (nadānu, wr. sum-nu) 12 half (mišlu) measures (mašīhu) of choice dates (makkasu) to (ana) A. The dates are for (no preposition) the regular offerings! (sattukku) that will take place (ša) in Ṭebēt (X) in the temple of the goddess Anunītu and the small sanctuaries (ekurrāti).*

The next line(s) are not legible.

Furthermore, the document also records that the Ebabbar temple gave (nadānu, wr. sum) a total amount of 11 measures to (ana) B, for (ša) the temple of Gula:

8 measures … (broken raw material)

3 measures … (broken raw material).

Finally the document records* that the Ebabbar temple gave (nadānu, wr. sum.na) 2 half offering?!-measures, what remains to be paid (rēhu) to (ana) C as income for (his) service (pappasu) in the temple of Gula during the accession year of Darius.

(*)Note the terse formulation and sequence of the sentences in ll. 1-5: “measures of dates / makkasu sat!-tuk! [ša x] / bīt Anunītu u ekurrāti / ša month-so-and-so ana A / iddin”; and in ll. 11-13: 2 half-measures sat?!-tuk?! rēhi / pappasu ša bīt Gula ša šanat rēš šarrūti / ana C iddin. Or, are these lines about 2 half-measures, the remainder (rēhu) of(?) the regular offerings paid to C for his temple service?

A= Nādinu/Ea-iddina (Bongenaar 1997, 253); B= Arad-Gula (=Ardia/Marduk-ēṭir, a holder of a prebend in the temple of Gula, Bongenaar 1997, 243); C= Marduk-šumu-uṣur, probably a performer of prebendary duties in the temple of Gula (Bongenaar 1997, 251).
