The document, written on the 2nd day of Ṭebēt (X) in the 3rd regnal year of Darius, records that the Ebabbar temple sold (no verb) 1 vat (šappatu) of vinegar (hallā) for (ana) 3 shekels of silver to (ana) A and received (eṭēru, wr. šur) the silver.
The Ebabbar temple also sold (nadānu, sum-na) and delivered (nadānu, sum-na) 1 vat (šappatu) of vinegar (hallā) for (ana) 3 shekels of silver to (ana) B.
Furthermore, the Ebabbar temple sold (no verb) and delivered (nadānu, sum-na) 1 vat (šappatu) of vinegar (hallā) for (ana) 3 shekels of silver to (ana) C. However, C did not (ul) pay (nadānu, sum) the silver.
Finally, the Ebabbar temple sold (no verb) and delivered (nadānu, sum-na) 1 vat (šappatu) of vinegar (hallā) for (ana) 3 shekels of silver to (ana) the royal commissioner (qīpu), but he did not pay the silver either.
