Paraphrase Purchase of a slave: B1 and fB2 sell fC to A for 2 ½ minas 5 shekels of cut silver of 1/8 alloy. A clause follows concerning B1’s and fB2’s responsibility regarding possible claims (pūt pāqirāni) over fC2. The price includes 1 ½ minas of silver that B1 and fB2 owe to fD, for which fC was taken as security. A gives the promissory note (uˀiltu) of fD to B1 and fB2. 8 witnesses, fD as ina ašābi-witness, and the scribe (Nabû-balāssu-iqbi/Nabû-ēṭir-napšāti//Egibi).
