Paraphrase

Letter of Marduk-šāpik-zēri (High Priest, šatammu) to Nabû-[…], Imbia and Šamaš-šumu-iddin, “his brothers”, reminding them not to be negligent (lā šelû) about their service (maṣṣartu) for the temple. The sender tells the recipients to load boats which he sent to them with white barley and to send them back. They should also send cattle and fowl for the 7th day, as discussed. In case Nergal-uballiṭ has not opened the canal, the recipients should do so with their men. The sender also demands that castrated oxen, either from the plowmen or some that are bought with silver, be taken to (tp)Bīt-Ṣapṣap.
