Paraphrase

Letter of Nabû-bān-aḫi to Nabû-ušabši, “his father”, informing the recipient about positive reports from Bēl-[…]-ukīn and Nabû-mukīn-apli. The sender states that (f)Banât-Ištar is well and on her way to the recipient. After a broken section, the sender answers a message by the recipient about an archive (bīt ṭuppi), informing him that he settled the account with a surplus of silver, which he gave to Ēzu-u-pāšir and Ibni-Ištar/Mukīn-zēri//Bēl-ēṭer. The sender poses a follow-up question concerning a message by the recipient about a negative report about calves which may anger (f)Ṭubbû. At the end of the letter, the sender asks the recipient to hand over several measures of an unmentioned commodity of the recipient to Bēl-rē’ûa.
