Contract of rent about a boat, dated
Nabû-uṣuršu/Balāṭu//Nanaḫu rented out (ana idu nadānu) the boat of Murašû/Ḫanan, which was provided to him, to Mušēzib-Bēl/Iddin-Nabû for fifteen days for the price of 8 1/2 shekels of white hacked silver with one-eighth alloy, for the route from the anchorage in (tp)Karkara to the anchorage of (tp)Bištu-ša-Urauʾa.
From the 10th day of m.X the boat is at the disposal of Mušēzib-Bēl. When he takes the boat on the 10th day in his possession, he will pay the 8 1/2 shekels of silver. Additionally he will provide three sūtu flour as provisions for the boat crew. He will pay one kurru barley worth 3 shekels of silver as their salary. They each took a copy of the document.
