Paraphrase

Letter of Nādinu (/Balāṭu, City Governor [šākin ṭēmi] of Uruk) (N) to Nabû-mukīn-zēri (/Nādinu//Dābibī, High Priest, šatammu) and Nabû-aḫu-iddin (Royal Overseer, ša rēš šarri bēl piqitti), “his brothers”, answering a request by the temple about Zēriya (Z), informing them that a message by a Chief of Bowcases (rab ummi) came in about him because the royal soldier of Šamaš-zēru-iqīša/Innin-šumu-uṣur(//Sîn-leqe-unninnī) (ŠZI) did not come to the governor of the Sealand (šākin māti). The sender now tells them to send ŠZI, Iqīša (I.šá:ba [=níg.ba], possibly /Nanāya-ēreš//Kidin-Marduk) and Z to him. He also offers to talk to the king about this archer if the recipients want him to, offering a way to access other archers via silver owed to the Bēl(-temple) so that the aforementioned men who are supposed to be sent to him will be free (of claims, zakû). In a broken passage at the end of the letter, N requests that Imbia should come to him [remainder of the letter broken].
