Marduk-šākin-šumi/Taqīš-Gula//Nūr-Sîn (Mšš) negotiates under oath with Mušēzib-Bēl/Ša-Nabû-šū//Kidin-Maruk (MB) the dowry (nudinnû) for Ḫipāya/Ša-Nabû-šū//Kidin-Marduk (Ḫ), the sister of of MB and Mšš’s deceased wife, Bunanītu/Ša-Nabû-šū//Kidin-Marduk (B). He cites the original dowry of B consisting of 10 minas of silver and houses in the city, neighboring those of Nabû-šumu-šubši, the master builder (arad ekalli), and of Ša-Nabû-šū, the elder, and (f)Širiḫā (Š) with her kin, (f)Abu-balti and Nabû-ṣābit-qāti. MB laments that there is nothing left of possessions (makkūru) in his father’s house. MB nonetheless gave to Mšš a large field, bordering those of Šumāya/Nergal-ēṭir, and of Nergal-uballiṭ/Nabû-šumu-ukīn to be measured according to the testimony of the neighbors, (f)Arḫāya = Š(?).
MB will pay off a debt owed by Ša-Nabû-šū to Taqīš-Gula and Mšš.
11 witnesses, including Ša-Nabû-šū, the house manager (rab bīti) of the rab mungi official, and the scribe Lūṣi-ana-Nūri/[...].
