Lā-qīpu/Šamaš-iddin and Enlil-Bēlšunu/Šamaš-iddin, sons of f.Bazītu, their mother, said (kīam iqbû umma) to Silim-ilī (SI), servant of Širikti-Ninurta/Ḫanbu, the Governor of Nippur (šandabakku):
“teach (lamādu) our brother, Ninurta-uballiṭ/Šamaš-iddin (NU), the craft of the launderer (pūṣammūtu) for the duration of two years”.
SI agrees (šemû). If SI will not teach NU the craft within two years, SI will pay 10š silver.
The contract-braker (nabalkattānu) will pay 4š silver.
Provisions and work materials will be supplied SI*.
2 witnesses and the scribe Ninurta-ēṭir/Enlil-aḫḫē-iddin.
The tablet is a near duplicate of ROMCT 8.2, 8a.
The tablet, as well as its duplicate ROMCT 8.2, 8a, is presented in the CDLI with it reverse on the top.
The cause regarding subsistence and materials seems to be referring to Silim-ilī, although this is not stated clearly.
