Paraphrase

Arad-[DN]/Šulāya and Balāssu/Nergal-šumu-uṣur (B) owe (ina muḫḫi) 15;0 barley to Nādin/Balāssu (N). They will pay (nadānu) it in m.VII, in Nippur, in its principal amount (ina qaqqadišu). Mutual guarantee (ištēn pūtu šanû našû). That debt is apart from (elat) a debt note (u'iltu) for 2m silver, a supplementary gift for the well-being (nūptu ša napšāti) of Enlil-šāpik-zēri, the Governor of Nippur (šandabakku), which N paid in barley on their account. It is also apart from a previous debt note against B.

3 witnesses and the scribe B.

The supplementary gift for well-being, nūptu ša napšāti (nu-up-ti šá ˹zi?˺), if accepted, is unattested elsewhere.

Enlil-šāpik-zēri, the šandabakku, is attested in GC 1, 94 (41 Nbk, Eanna Archive) as active in Tyre.
