Paraphrase

Concerning 10,136;0 of barley belonging to the Eanna: this represents the remaining impost (imittu) of the ploughmen (ikkaru) for Nbn 3, (estimated by) Zēria/Nabû-iddin (Z) and Nanāya-iddin/Itti-Marduk-balāṭu (NI), the agents (bēl piqnēti) of Šumu-ukīn/Bēl-zēri//Basia (ŠU), the rent farmer (ša muḫḫi sūti) of the Eanna.
Z and NI delivered the barley, in the Eanna measure (mašiḫu), from ŠU’s rent farm to the Eanna in his absence. In agreement (akī pî) with the ploughmen (ikkaru), they assessed the impost (emēdu) and drew up (e’ēlu) a debt note (u’iltu), that is above and over (elat) previous debts from Nbn 1 and 2 owed by the ploughmen to Šumu-ukīn.
In the assembly, Nabû-šarru-uṣur, the Royal Overseer (rēš šarri bēl piqitti), asked: “Has any fraud occurred? Šumu-ukīn is complaining about you.” Z and NI replied that, in Nbn 3, in ŠU’s absence, they had measured the barley with the ploughmen’s consent and drawn up a debt note. They assumed mutual warranty.

9 witnesses and the scribe Balāṭu/Mušēzib-Bēl
