11 talents 15 minas of wool for 2 1/2 minas of silver, Ša-pî-Bēl/Nabû-aḫḫē-iddin; 36 talents (of wool) for 8 minas of silver, Kunāya/Bēl-iddin; 20 talents 15 minas of wool for 4 1/2 minas of silver, Ēzu-u-pašir; 1 talent (for), Šumu-ukīn; 9 talents 40 minas, Zēru-ukīn; 1 talent, Aḫḫūtu; 1 talent, Bēl-ēṭir; 1 talent 20 minas, Bēl-uballiṭ/Aḫḫēšāya, for 20 shekels of silver.

[4] 1/2 talents for 1 mina of silver, at the disposal (ina pāni) of Šullumu; (in total) 86 (talents of wool).

4 1/2 talents of wool for 1 mina of silver, …; 18 talents 8 minas for 4 minas of silver, received from Nabû-ēṭir/Bēlšunu; 3 minas are the balance of 1/2 mina of gold (ḫurāṣu).

1 talent of wool for 15 shekels of silver, Bēl-šumu-iškun; 36 minas for 9 shekels of silver; 8 minas, Kudurru; 3 talents 10 minas, the weavers (išparu); 1 talent at the disposal of the Royal Resident (qīpu); 8 minas at the disposal of Mušēzib-Marduk; 30 minas Zabidā; 1 talent, Marduk-šarrani; 42 minas, Ēzu-u-pašir. Total of 116 talents 42 minas for 21 minas 40(+) shekels of silver; 22 1/2 5 4(+) 22.

Notes:

l.1+3–4.8: 1 mina of silver is the price of 4 1/2 talents of wool, except for l.8–9, there 1 mina of silver is the price of 4 talents of wool (the price could be higher for smaller amounts of wool).

l.10: The number is restored according to the stated sum of 86 talents in l.12; it fits the price of 1 mina of silver for 4 1/2 talents of wool.

l.12: The number 86—representing the total amount of wool from the preceding lines—is followed by an erased “20”. This erased number may reflect an attempt to record the total price in silver. Indeed, If one calculates an average price based on the attested wool–silver ratios on the tablet, and then reconstructs the missing silver amounts accordingly, the total sum of silver corresponding to the 86 units of wool would amount to either 20¾ or 21 minas. In both cases, the number would have been written with an initial “20”.

l.19 (Kudurru): The same individual as in YOS 24, 151:3; 178:11.

l.24: The stated sum (116 talents 42 minas) includes obverse and reverse and excludes the balance of 3 minas in l.16; it is 10 minas lower than the calculated sum.
