Bēl-aḫḫē-iddin/Ilī-bānī//Rē'i-sisê (BAI) purchases a field and a fallow land from Šamaš-pirʾu-uṣur/Aplāya//Mudammiq-Adad (ŠPU).
The field and fallow land are located in the quarter (erṣētu) of Kumara in (tp)Babylon. Its measurements (mišiḫtu) is 3 cubits (in reed measure).
The western upper side (šiddu elû amurru), measuring 1½, is adjacent to the house (ṭāḫ bīt) of Aplāya//Paḫāru; the eastern lower side (šiddu šaplû šadû), measuring 1½, is adjacent to the house (ṭāḫ bīt) of Bēl-aḫḫē-iddin/Ilī-bānī//Rē'i-sisê (BAI), the recipient of the field (māḫirānu eqli); the northern upper front (pūtu elû ištānu), measuring 16 fingers, is adjacent to the house (ṭāḫ bīt) of Nabû-naʾid/Šarrāḫu; the southern lower front (pūtu šaplû šūtu), measuring 1 cubit and 8 fingers, is adjacent to the narrow street (ṭāḫ sūqu qatnu).
ŠPU received (maḫir) 15 shekels of silver, with a supplementary payment (atru) of 1/4 shekel, from BAI. (The money) is paid (apil), he is cleared (zakî).
ŠPU relinquishes any future claims on behalf of his household. Any future claimant (pāqirānu) will have to repay twelvefold the silver he received.
The document was sealed in front of 4 witnesses and the scribe is Nabû-šumu-iddin/Bēl-aḫḫē-erība//Sippê
The document includes the clause concerning fingernail impressions of ŠPU, and the tablet is marked with them.
